Ask the customer: "Is your shower opening straight across, or does it have an L-shape with a return wall?" · If straight = sliding or 2-panel pivot. If L-shape = 3-panel.
  1. Get the opening width at the top, middle, and bottom — use the smallest number for the door panel.
  2. Confirm ceiling clearance. We standardize to 76" but ask if they want a transom for taller ceilings.
  3. Ask about privacy preference — clear, sandblasted band, or full frosted. This drives the glass step.
  4. Confirm tile age & condition. New tile = clean install. Old tile may need 1/4" outage adjustment top/bottom.
  5. Ask about hardware finish they're matching — bath fixtures, faucets, or showerhead. We'll show options next step.
